Anemone are among the most fascinating of the ocean’s inhabitants. Using its foot, called its pedal disc, they will anchor to either a hard surface or burrow itself into the sand or mud sediment. Water quality, the intensity of the tanks lighting, and correct water flow are all important factors in health and longevity. To supplement their diet, feed raw, minced meaty seafood items (shrimp, shellfish, fish, and krill to name a few, attained from your local grocery store), chopped to about 1/4 inches in size.
